A wonderful open ended map app where children can grow and create landscapes. Children can plant trees and bring the animals that live in them to life, they can also grow mountains and create lakes. Once the children have created their world they can go through the magnifying glass to visit their world and feed their animals. Animals grow as they are fed! Children also have the task of collecting or taking pictures of specific objects as they go around their worlds, great opportunity for sharing together. So many language opportunities about the world around children, what animals eat, what animals they have seen, where animals live and sleep etc. Great also as an opportunity to sit back and listen to children describe the world they are creating.
